The Virginia Department of Veteran Services (DVS) is organized into five service delivery sections – benefits, veterans education, care centers, veterans cemeteries, and the Virginia Wounded Warrior Program. Four citizen boards work closely with the agency to support the effective delivery of services to Virginia’s veterans – the Board of Veterans Services, the Joint Leadership Council of Veterans Service Organizations, the Veterans Services Foundation, and the Veterans Care Center Advisory Committee.

The Department of Veterans' Affairs provides information on memorial benefits, health services, life insurance programs and other useful information and tools to help our veterans and their families.

The Department of Defense's Military Funeral Honors Page provides the general public with information on Military Funeral Honors, as well as helpful links to related military and veterans issued web sites.

The Arlington National Cemetery Website provides visitor information, funeral information, special events, help locating a gravesite, contact information and more.

The National Cemetery Administration (NCA) honors Veterans with a final resting place and lasting memorials that commemorate their service to our nation.
