Mary and I only knew him briefly, meeting in her framing shop in Onancock. He had a love for everything automotive, and bought most of my small car collection. I was so pleased. I hope the family has a young child in the family that might enjoy this collection. I will always remember Mr. Ryan fondly. Be at peace, Mr. Ryan.

Served with Bruce in the Marine Corps..a proud service member for all the years i ve known him.. we served in PLT 227 and graduated on 19 April 69. Bruce found me some years later in 82 and we have been talking ever since. I ll never forget his 50 th birthday party there in Putnam NY.. it was and he was treated to his special day.
On our way to Florida we would stop by and see Bruce and his estate! yes he was pretty proud of the work and gardens in back of his house... the house itself was a museum. Last time i was there he showed me his military room full of pictures and collections he had from the service He was proud of his picture of him and Ted Williams..another Marine and aviator pilot that Bruce admired..
It was that go away hug i gave him when i was leaving that concerned me there.. ya he was loosing weight.. he was in my prayers from that day on. Steph.. my best to you and the family,, a good guy and pal and friend to his pets and friends.. I wish i went with him to Selkirk to visit our lost friends grave there.. he honored the veterans and respected life he lived it to the fullest..
