Cecil Ire Fogle
July 16, 1953 ~ February 5, 2017 (age 63) 63 Years OldCecil Ire Fogle, 63, resident of Parksley, VA, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital.
Born July 16, 1953 in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of Rose Marie Richardson Fogle of Hacksneck, VA and the late Donald Cecil Fogle. Cecil’s career as a truck driver was the perfect fit for him. He enjoyed traveling to new places and never met a stranger, befriending everyone encountered along the way. Cecil loved sports, especially baseball and was a member of the Brookneal, VA Moose Lodge, #1507, where he often played pool.
In addition to his mother, survivors include three children, January Robinson and husband Billy of Parksley, Christine Fogle and Benjamin Fogle, both of Salisbury, MD; two sisters, Margaret Kennedy and husband Jay of Hacksneck and Florence Beach of Iowa; two brothers, Willie Fogle of Kansas and Don Fogle of Hacksneck; three grandchildren, Makaela and Tyler Robinson and Savannah Fogle; and several nieces and nephews. Other than his father, he was predeceased by his son, James Fogle.
A memorial service will be conducted from the chapel of the Williams-Parksley Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.
