Charles Robert Marshall

Mr. Charles Robert Marshall, 55, husband of Frankie Earman and a resident of Parksley, VA, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 at his home.

Charles was born July 31, 1961 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Cecil R. Marshall, Jr. and Mary Jane Chase Marshall.  Raised in a Catholic family, he remained close to his faith even after moving to Virginia, attending Mass at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church and St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.  He worked as a nurse at Shore Memorial Hospital and several private doctors’ offices on the Shore, graciously sharing his passion for taking care of others.  He enjoyed cooking for friends and loved ones and was a member of the Eastern Shore Railway Museum.       

In addition to his husband, Charles is survived by two brothers, Cecil R. Marshall III and wife Marie of Accomac, VA and Stephen G. Marshall and wife Katrina of Staten Island, NY; sister, Deborah Gerrity and husband Thomas of Long Island, NY; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces, whom he adored.

Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside at the Liberty Cemetery, in Parksley, on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 1:00 p.m, with The Reverend Robert Lloyd officiating.
