June 13, 1958 ~ June 20, 2015 (age 57) 57 Years OldMr. Charles Willis Parks, Jr., 57, resident of Slidell, LA, formerly of the Eastern Shore, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015 at his residence.
Born June 13, 1958 in Nassawadox, VA and reared in Harborton, VA, he is the son of Charles Willis Parks and Sandra Parks of Painter, VA. Mr. Parks was a longtime waterman.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his companion, Debra Beck of Slidell; two daughters, Brittney Parks of Harborton, and Ashley Hopkins of Onancock, VA; two brothers, Jerry Parks of Middletown, CT, and Richard Parks of Parksley, VA; a step-sister, Danette Conway; a step-brother, George Whipple, both of Salisbury, MD; three grandchildren, Gaven, Kayley, and Cameron Hopkins; one uncle; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted from the chapel of the Williams-Onancock Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., with the Reverend Barbara Parker officiating.
