Ed Drummond
October 7, 1928 ~ May 2, 2016 (age 87) 87 Years Old
Mr. George Edward “Ed” Drummond, 87, beloved husband of Jo Ann Drummond and a resident of Parksley, Va., passed away at his residence on Monday, May 2, 2016.
Born October 7, 1928 in Rue, Va., Ed was the son of the late George E. Drummond and Nellie Mae Hickman Drummond. He honored his country in the United States Navy, serving in the Presidential U.S. Navy Honor Guard; and was an active member of St. James’ Episcopal Church in Accomac, Va.
Ed is survived by his loving wife, Jo Ann; and D.L. Webb, whom he thought of like a brother. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his step-son, Bobby Lee Scott.
A memorial service to celebrate Ed’s life, will be held at St. James’ Episcopal Church on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., with The Reverend Cameron Randle officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. James’ Episcopal Church, Post Office Drawer 540, Accomac, Va. 23301.
