Ellen DeMartino

Ellen Taylor DeMartino, 60, of Brick, N.J., left this world to be in a better place, on Sunday, March 15, 2015.  Reared in Point Pleasant Borough, N.J., she graduated number one in her class from dental school. 

She was predeceased by her mother, Christine Kay, and her grandparents.  Surviving are her father, Arthur J. Kay of Florida, formerly of Guilford, Va.; two sisters, Julia Ann Kay, of Pungoteague, Va., and Claudia Lee Johnson; her brother, Roy Cole; and her very special friend in life, Edward DeMartino.

Visiting hours are Thursday, March 19, 2015, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Highway 88, Brick, N.J.  A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m.

Burial will take place in the Parksley Cemetery, Parksley, Va., on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 12:00 p.m.  The Reverend G. Wayne Parsley will officiate.
