The death of a loved one is one of the most devastating experience a person can face. The pain and grief can be unbearable. May your family be comforted by God's promise of the resurrection. (John 6:40) Which assures us that we will see our loved ones again.

Dear Mary, I never met Evan but know that he was a very special person. I met him on Facebook through Bill and Mary Burnham. We wanted to visit last Fall when we were in Onancock but Evan wasn’t up to visits and we understood. We had hoped to do the same in November on our trip south but it wasn’t meant to be. It’s really amazing how close you can feel to someone without actually meeting them. We had so much in common - politics, nature, pets etc etc but there was sometimes an undertone of sadness in his postings. At one time Evan said he no longer wanted to write on Facebook but I asked him to continue and he did. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one to ask. I really miss not seeing his comments and thoughts but know that whatever problems he had he is now at peace. He had a special gift of being able to connect with people through words. I will miss him. I hope you too find peace and comfort.

Dear Mary and Even's mother and sister: we remember with fondness Evan when he worked at Wallops...he certainly endured many horrific obstacles during earthly life and we can rejoice he is whole and healthy now! Prayers for comfort and healing in the days ahead...
