Frank McNally

Mr. Francis “Frank” McNally, 76, husband of Barbara Perkins McNally and a resident of Exmore, Va., formerly of Philadelphia, Penn., passed away on Monday, October 5, 2015, at Riverside Shore Rehabilitation Center in Parksley, Va.

Born July 17, 1939 in Philadelphia, Frank was a son of the late John McNally and Elsie Webb McNally.  He served his country in the United States Navy, retiring as Chief after twenty years of service; ran clam boats out of New Jersey and Chincoteague, Va.; was a QA Inspector at Wallops Flight Facility; and enjoyed fishing and woodworking.

In addition to his loving wife, survivors include a daughter, Sharon Bowers of New Mexico; a son, Scott McNally of Waverly, Va.; four step-children, Tom Perkins and wife Janice, of Exmore, Steve Perkins and wife Star, of Quinby, Va., Karen Perkins Nelson and husband Don, of Salisbury, Md., and Kelly Perkins of Exmore; a sister, Barb Skocic and husband Joe; three brothers, John, Bob and Ladd McNally; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and their families.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Ruth.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Onley, Va., Monday, October 12, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., with Father Merlito M. Abiog officiating.  Inurnment with military honors, will be held at Arlington National Cemetery in the future.
