Mrs. Jacqueline Webber Harmon, 76, wife of the late George Walker Harmon, and a resident of Parksley, VA, went peacefully to the Lord on July 31, 2017 to walk with her beloved husband in heaven.

Mrs. Harmon was born on June 10, 1941 in Montclair, New Jersey. She was a daughter of the late Wendell Kershaw Webber and Margaret Elizabeth Webber.  Mrs. Harmon retired from Williamsburg Community Hospital where she worked as a registered nurse, and later worked for Intrepid Health Care Services on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. “Jacci”, as she was known to her friends, was a three-time cancer survivor and was very active in Relay for Life.  She enjoyed playing the organ and bells and doing fundraisers with her church, Grace United Methodist Church in Parksley.  She also enjoyed going fishing every chance she got.

Survivors include her two sons, Brian Walker Harmon and wife Deidre Bucci of Norge, VA and George Morris Harmon and wife Kathryn Slick of Newport News, VA; sister, Margaret “Peggy” Millard of Allentown, PA; several in-laws, nieces, and nephews; and numerous life-long friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her older sister, Anne Montgomery.

Memorial services will be conducted from the chapel of the Williams-Parksley Funeral Home on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 3:00 p.m., with The Reverend Alan Layman officiating and at the Zion United Methodist Church, in Seaford, VA, on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 5:00 p.m., with The Reverend David MacGruder officiating.
