Janet Merle Radford
April 14, 1921 ~ September 17, 2016 (age 95) 95 Years OldMs. Janet Merle Radford, 95, resident of Heritage Hall in Nassawadox, VA, formerly of Hershey, PA, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016.
Born April 14, 1921, in Mullens, WV, she was a daughter of the late Cecil B. Radford and Doris Wente Radford. Janet retired as a secretary for the Pennsylvania Automotive Association. She enjoyed playing golf, bridge, was a volunteer at Hershey Medical gift shop for several years, and she and her twin were dancers who entertained service men at the U.S.O. in West Virginia during World War II. She attended Pittsville United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her twin sister, Jean Brown; and her brother, Cecil Radford. She is survived by one niece and five nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted from the Pittsville United Methodist Church on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., with The Reverend Maury Enright officiating.
