Mrs. Janet Davis Williams, 78, wife of the late William Henry Williams and a resident of Melfa, VA, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018, at the Alice B. Tawes Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Crisfield, MD.
Born August 24, 1939 in Tasley, VA, and reared in Keller, VA, Janet was the daughter of the late Charlie Benjamin Davis and Charlotte Powell Mason Davis. She was a teacher in the Accomack County Public Schools, a member of Drummondtown United Methodist Church in Accomac, VA, and enjoyed her pets and birdwatching.
Survivors include two children, Kevin L. Williams and his wife, Dottie, of Melfa, and Lisa H. Parks and her husband, Shawn, of Pocomoke, MD; four grandchildren, Kathryn L. Williams and Jonathan B. Williams, both of Melfa, and Wyatt James Smith and Ella Kate Smith, both of Pocomoke; and a great-granddaughter, Lillian L. Lilliston of Melfa.
Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside at the Edgehill Cemetery in Accomac, Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., with The Reverend William Greer officiating.
