John Fredrick Beilsmith

John F. Beilsmith, 73, of Dunwoody, GA, died on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at home.

He was the son of Sue and Dale Beilsmith of Slater, MO, where John grew up.  After graduation from the University of Missouri, Columbia, he served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.  He was a proud member of the Atlanta Vietnam Veterans' Business Association and other professional organizations.  He worked as a CPA for 45 years, opening his own practice, Navigator CPA Group, in 2004.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Lucie Mapp Beilsmith; two daughters, Michelle Beilsmith Robertson (and husband Scott) and Margaret Beilsmith Collins (and husband Rich); four grandchildren, Connor and Campbell Robertson, and Lucie and Alice Collins; one brother, K. Patrick Beilsmith; and five sisters, Gaye Beilsmith, Barbara Chevalier, Bonnie Smith, Darlene Leffler, and Irene Schild.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, September 15 at 10:30 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church in Dunwoody.  Private interment will be held at the Hungars Church in Bridgetown, VA.
