Lindsay Leggett, Sr.

Mr. Lindsay Earl Leggett, Sr., 76, of Bloxom, VA, formerly of Pitt County, NC, passed away at his residence on Monday, June 26, 2017.

Born September 17, 1940 in Pitt County, he was a son of the late William Murphy Leggett and Roxie Hull Leggett.  Lindsay had worked in the Parts and Supply Department at Perdue Farms, Inc., was a Presbyterian, and attended Baptist Bible Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Terry Lynn Leggett of Bloxom; his son, Lindsay E. Leggett, Jr. of Onancock, VA; step-daughter, Tammy Murphy Bennett; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by eight brothers and sisters.

Following Lindsay’s request, services will be private.
