Nancy Waterfield Twyford

Nancy Waterfield Twyford, 92, of Southport, Fla., formerly of Onancock, Va., passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015.

Born October 26, 1922 in Pungoteague, Va., she was a daughter of the late Carroll I. Waterfield and Annie Nicolls Waterfield.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Elmer Twyford; a daughter, Nancy Raye Phillips; and two sisters, Betty Waterfield Thomas and her husband Warren, and Sally Ann Waterfield Huether.

She is survived by a daughter, Carol Ann Sims and husband Eddy; four grandchildren, Chris Sims, Daniel Sims, Joy Zuchel, and Brooks Phillips; several great-grandchildren and nephews; and a brother-in-law, Bobby Huether.

A memorial service will be held at the Pungoteague Community Church, Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Bobby Carroll Huether officiating.
