Tommy Phillips

Mr. William Thomas “Tommy” Phillips, born July 31, 1957 in Monterey, CA to the late William Lee “Bill” Phillips and Mary Alice Parks “Mert” Phillips, passed away peacefully and into the welcoming arms of his beloved parents on Sunday, January 28, 2018.

Tommy enjoyed taking rides with his family, listening to the radio, watching the Beverly Hillbillies, and he never missed an episode of Duck Dynasty.  He loved magazines and looked forward to a new stack each time his family came for a visit.  While he is now at peace as he feels the loving embrace of his parents, he will be greatly missed, and his memory forever cherished, by those he left behind.   

Survivors include his brother, Parks Phillips and wife Donna; two nieces, Karrie E. Phillips and Jessica E. Bonniwell and husband Jeremy, all of Parksley, VA; special friend, Ms. Marsha; and family at Peaceful Surroundings. 

Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Williams-Parksley Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 3:00 p.m., with Pastor Sam Welch officiating.  Interment will be private in the Parksley Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
