Mr. Albert Lee “Turk” Lilliston, 79, beloved husband of Barbara Lilliston and a resident of Deep Creek, VA, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.

Born September 20, 1938 in Nassawadox, VA, he was a son of the late Wesley Earl Lilliston and Edith Williams Lilliston Lewis.  Following his service in the United States Navy, Turk returned home to run the family business, A.L. Lilliston Seafood, where he spent most of his time driving the seafood truck.  Over the years, Turk delivered seafood to countless businesses along the east coast, and never once met a stranger.  Known for his larger than life personality, kind heart, and especially for his humor and quick wit, Turk had a way to make anyone feel at ease.  He adored his family, and was especially grateful for the two loves of his life, Barbara and his fur baby, "Digger".  Though he will be greatly missed, his legacy of love and laughter will live on forever through the many lives he touched and the beautiful memories shared.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by eleven children, Tammy LeCato and husband Jerry, Troy Lilliston, Lee Lilliston, all of Wilmington, NC, Brenda Elbrey and husband Darcy of Alberta, Canada, Turk Lilliston, Jr. and wife Michelle of Onancock, Robert Bundick and wife Jody of Exmore, VA, Marvin Bundick and wife Sylvia of Deep Creek, Billy Greer of Accomac, VA, C.A. Bundick of Exmore, VA, Chris Lilliston and wife Beverly of Bloxom, and Kevin Lilliston of Onancock; sister, Diane Blankenship of Melfa, VA; twenty-four grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  Other than his parents, Turk was predeceased by a son, Tony Lilliston; brothers, Gus, Buddy, and Junior Lilliston; sisters, Rosie Annis, Edna Bowen, and Annabelle Colonna; grandsons, Turk Lilliston III and Joshua Lilliston; and granddaughters, Hailey Greer and Monica Cummins.

Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Williams-Onancock Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., with The Reverend Andy Cobb officiating.  Interment will follow in the Fairview Lawn Cemetery.  There will be a visitation at the funeral home on Monday, October 2, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to Intrepid Hospice, P.O. Box 770, Onley, VA 23418.
