Vanessa Gail White

Ms. Vanessa "Nessie" Gail White, 61, lifelong resident of Deep Creek, VA, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.

Born November 15, 1955 in Nassawadox, VA, she was a daughter of the late Levin White and Jean Williams White.  Vanessa was a customer service manager for Food Lion for twenty-five years, worked as a part time bus driver for Accomack County Public Schools, and was a devoted member of the Bloxom Community Church of the Nazarene.  There was nothing more important to Nessie than her beloved family, and she especially enjoyed spending time with, and spoiling, her grandchildren. 

Survivors include her two daughters, Levin Hope and husband Phillip, and Brenda Bell, all of Deep Creek; her niece and nephew, Kayla Ramirez and wife Kassandra of Clinton, NC and William Grabowski and wife Bridgett of Onancock, VA, whom she thought of as her children; two sisters, Donna Marshall of Modest Town, VA and Melissa Grabowski of Clinton; and eight grandchildren, Katlyn, Phillip, Tyler, Alexis, Skyler, Amirrah, Kylee, and Kassidee.

Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside at the Fairview Lawn Cemetery on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Mary Jimenez officiating.
