I always held much admiration and respect for Yvonne. She was a close, cherished friend for a good part of my life and quite a lady. The only things that exceeded her beauty were her intelligence, level of insight, and appreciation for all of life.
I enjoyed many lively conversations with her. Depending on the topic, she could energize the air and make sparks fly. If you ever were brave enough to venture to “get her goat,” or attempted to “get one over” on her--which I learned not to do, or even worse, peaked her anger, her stunning eyes, which lit up like diamonds, could cut stone. You did not want to be on the receiving end of her gaze at that moment. Folks that knew her well, know of the description. I learned the hard way early in our friendship, but enjoyed her presence and grace through the many years (decades) immensely.
She is greatly missed. And as she reiterated in her last conversation with me less than two days before she passed, was very grateful for her partner, Mr. Peter Peyton. To all of her family, friends, Pete and anyone who misses her, please accept my humble condolences. Heaven has welcomed her.

My condolences for this deep loss. My beautiful, sweet cousin is very much missed and will continue to be remembered for all the time and love she gave to others.
