Life Legacy
Mrs. Esther Elizabeth Accomando, 87, wife of the late Joe Accomando and a resident of Onancock, VA, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2008 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA.
Born on August 28, 1920 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Coley and Minnie Parker. Mrs. Accomando was retired as a secretary from Esskay Meat Packers and provided home health care and child care for many years on the Eastern Shore. She attended Market Street United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Marty Beckner and his wife Sylvia; two grandchildren, Marty and Michael Beckner; and two great-grandchildren, Marty and Alex Beckner, all of Pasadena, MD; and a sister, Roberta "Bertie" Neugebauer and her husband Phil of Patrick, SC.
A memorial service will be held at the Williams-Onancock Funeral Home on Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shore Cancer Center, P.O. Box 17, Nassawadox, VA 23413.
