Life Legacy
Mrs. Mary Frances Allen, 66, wife of the late Larry Brown Allen and a resident of Quail Run Assisted Living in Nelsonia, VA for six years, formerly of Onancock, VA, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2007, at Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, VA.
Born on December 14, 1942, Mrs. Allen was the daughter of the late Willie Brooks Mears and Margaret Smullin Mears Bonniwell. She was a homemaker and a member of Onancock Baptist Church.
Mrs. Allen is survived by a son, David Allen of Onancock; a daughter, Leslie Allen Parks and husband Matthew of Newark, DE; a sister, Lois Ann Turner and husband Dicky of Parksley, VA; two grandchildren, Erin Maureen Parks and Timothy Aidan Parks; a niece, Michele Linton and a nephew, James Brooks Mears. She was predeceased by a brother, Willie Brooks Mears, Jr.
Funeral services conducted from the graveside at the Fairview Lawn Cemetery in Onancock on Sunday, July 22, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Benton officiating.
