Mr. Ronald Bunce, 80, died peacefully at his home in East Point, Onancock, VA, on Friday, August 3, 2012.
He was born and raised in Baltimore, MD, and was the son of the late Victor B. Bunce and Margaret Leonard Bunce.
Ronald began his career in the computer field doing research for the Chesapeake Bay Institute at Johns Hopkins University. He continued his research and analysis work with the Federal Government in the environmental field. For the past few years he was a volunteer in the Hospital Elder Life program at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Patricia; four children and their spouses; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was loved by all and will be sorely missed.
A memorial service will be held at Broadway Baptist Church, Cashville, VA, on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at 3:00 PM.
