Life Legacy
Mr. Alfred Leon Dise, 61, husband of Donna Dise and a resident of Tangier, VA, passed away Monday, September 17, 2012 at his residence.
Born March 20, 1951 in Tangier, he was a son of Gwendoline Beatrice Wadley Dise of Tangier and the late Vernon Harris Dise. Alfred was a longtime waterman and member of the New Testament Church.
In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include two sons, Dennis Dise and wife Heather of Tangier and Charles Dise of Tangier; two sisters, Maureen Parks and husband Kim, of Tangier, and Lorraine Marie Parks of Exmore, VA; a granddaughter, Alyssa Dise; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and extended family members. Other than his father, he was predeceased by a brother, Charles Harris Dise.
Funeral services will be conducted from the New Testament Church on Friday, September 21, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend Bill Pruitt and Elder Duane Crockett officiating. Interment will follow in the New Testament Church Cemetery. There will be a visitation held at the church on Thursday, September 20, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
