Annabelle Belote Bailey

Mrs. Annabelle Belote Bailey, 89, wife of the late Louis L. Bailey, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at Laurelwood Healthcare Center in Elkton, MD. 

Born December 18, 1927 in Daugherty, VA, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Helen Brown Belote.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Hugh Belote and wife Eleanor, and Vernon James “Jimmy” Belote.

 Survivors include her sister-in-law, Averil “Avy” Belote; and several loving nieces and nephews and their families. 

Annabelle was a kind and loving woman who took great joy in bringing happiness to others, especially family and friends, and had a special love for cats.  A vibrant and colorful lady, Annabelle enjoyed dressing up and had a welcoming smile that could light up a room.   

Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Williams-Parksley Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., with The Reverend Robert Fletcher officiating.  Interment will follow in the Bradford Family Cemetery.  There will be a visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
