Bruce Ryan

Mr. Bruce James Ryan, 68, of Accomack County, VA, formerly of Putnam Valley, NY, died Tuesday, July 4, 2017.

Born July 26, 1948 in New York, he was a son of the late James Ryan and Lillian Loughlin Ryan.  Bruce proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps; enjoyed gardening, artwork and antiques; was an avid car buff; loved animals; and retired from law enforcement.

Survivors include a daughter, Stefani Kelly (David Wright), and son, David Ryan (wife Jennifer), all of New York; a grandson, Liam J. Ryan; a sister, Ellen Ryan (Bill Tanis) of Florida; two brothers, Dennis Ryan (Kathy Ruela) of New Jersey, and Kevin Ryan (wife Morgan) of Pennsylvania; his beloved pups, Miss Daisy and Rico; and six nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son-in-law, Brian J. Kelly.

To honor Bruce’s military service, a private interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery.
