Carol Wimbrow Obituary
Mrs. Carol Ann Wimbrow, 74, wife of the late Alva James Wimbrow and a resident of Oak Hall, VA, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019 at her home. Born December 2, 1944 in Nottingham, England, she was the daughter of the late Albert E. McClean and Dorothy Beet McClean.
Carol was a creative baker and cake decorator, and for many years, made wedding and birthday cakes for folks throughout the Eastern Shore. She enjoyed the comforts of her home, and when she wasn’t baking, she was spoiling the loves of her life – her furbabies, “Sophie” and “Boomer.”
She is survived by her three children, Lee Downs of Palm Springs, CA, Terry Downs and wife Harriet of Temperanceville, VA, and Julie Hirschauer and husband Bruce of Palm Desert, CA; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
To honor Carol's wishes, funeral services will be private.
