Connie Faye (Dize) Hart

Mrs. Constance Faye “Connie” Hart, 75, beloved wife of Pastor Wayne Alan Hart and a resident of Parksley, VA, passed away Monday, December 18, 2017 with her loving family at her side.

Born September 30, 1942 in Crisfield, MD, she was a daughter of the late Hilton Dize and Mary Susan Peyton Dize.  Connie was a long time preschool teacher, having taught children in Somerset County Public Schools, and later, at St. Paul’s on the Shore and Parksley Preschool.  She proudly served her Lord as a longtime member of Guilford United Methodist Church and attended Halls Chapel Church, and she greatly enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends on her front porch.  Connie adored her family, and especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Donald Monroe Windsor, Jr. and wife Diane of Wattsville, VA; daughter, Terri Lynn Windsor-Kelly and husband Philip of Parksley; stepchildren, Eric Wayne Hart and wife April of Parksley, and Ginger Hart Villanueva of Norfolk, VA; sister, Gwendolyn Dize Windsor and husband William of Marion Station, MD; six grandchildren, Donald, David, Jessica, April, Kaylen, and Ashley; four step grandchildren, Tyler, Lindsey, Addison, and Spencer; three great-grandchildren, Shawn, Christopher, and Ethan; nephew, Steve Windsor; and her special caregiver and angel, Shirley Parker.  Other than her parents, Connie was predeceased by her infant daughter, Theresa Ann Windsor.

Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Williams-Parksley Funeral Home on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., with Pastors Freddie Ward and Dan Tarr officiating.  Interment will follow in the Parksley Cemetery.  There will be a visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
