Daniel W. Rohde, Jr.
May 7, 1942 ~ December 22, 2017 (age 75) 75 Years OldMr. Daniel Webster “Dan” Rohde, Jr., 75, husband of Stella Taylor Rohde and a resident of Greenbush, VA, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 in Georgetown, DE.
Born May 7, 1942 in Baltimore, MD, he was a son of the late Daniel W. Rohde, Sr. and Stella Huda Rohde. Dan was reared in the United Methodist Church, served his country in the U.S. Army during the Cold War, was extremely patriotic and respectful of his country, and retired from Perdue Farms, Inc. He was a lifetime member of the Exmore-Belle Haven Moose Lodge, a licensed auctioneer, and antique collector.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his son, Daniel W. Rohde III and Sharon of Accomac, VA; sister, Frances Dvorak and husband Robert of Arnold, MD; brother, Dennis Rohde and wife Richelle of Essex, MD; two grandchildren, Shelby Taylor Rohde and Daniel W. Rohde IV; and numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.
Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside at the Onancock Cemetery, Friday, December 29, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., with The Reverend Berkley Ford officiating. There will be a visitation at the Williams-Onancock Funeral Home from 12:00 until 12:45 p.m., prior to the service.
