Edgar B. Bradley

Mr. Edgar B. Bradley, 88, beloved husband of Sylvia P. Bradley and a resident of Wachapreague, VA, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock, VA.

Born January 3, 1929 in Harborton, VA, he was a son of the late Ira S. Bradley and Bettie Turner Bradley.  Following his service in the United States Army, Mr. Bradley began his career with the former C&P Telephone Company, and later with AT&T, working as a systems technician for thirty years.  Over the next decade, he was employed by Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) and Lucent Technologies, retiring after forty years in communication services.  Mr. Bradley was a devoted member of Ocean View United Methodist Church and a loving husband and father.

In addition to his wife of sixty-four years, he is survived by two sons, Todd M. Bradley and wife Sandra of Wye Mills, MD; and Keith P. Bradley of Parsonsburg, MD; two granddaughters, Hannah E. and Sarah K. Bradley; and several nieces and nephews.  Other than his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Pauline B. Doughty; and brothers, Marvin T. and Milford C. Bradley.

Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Williams-Onancock Funeral Home on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., with The Reverend Sallye Bowen officiating.  Interment will follow in the Wachapreague Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
