Jack Boole

Mr. John Waymon “Jack” Boole, 79, husband of the late Wanda Sue Boole and a lifelong resident of Deep Creek, VA, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 at his home. Born June 1, 1940 in Nassawadox, VA, he was the son of the late Waymon Ledell Boole and Elizabeth Courtney Lewes Williams.

A true Eastern Shoreman, Jack’s life revolved around the water. In his younger years he worked as a waterman, and later, owned and operated Jack’s Marine, becoming well known for his talent in repairing any outboard motor. Jack never missed an opportunity to go fishing, whether inland or offshore, and always looked forward to duck hunting season. He was a cat lover, and had a special bond with his kitty, “Skamper,” who was always by his side.

Survivors include his children, Melissa Markham Brown and husband David, and John L. “Jackie Lee” Boole and wife Ann, all of Seaford, DE; stepchildren, Kevin Bryan Lovell of Deep Creek and Karen Lee Lovell of Fort Worth, TX; sister, Elizabeth “Libby” Williams and husband Donnie of Deep Creek; brother-in-law, Michael Janiszewski of Onancock, VA; grandchildren, John Markham, Mary Hopkins and husband Doug, John L. Boole, Jr., and Makalia Boole; step granddaughter, Nicole Lovell; great-grandchildren, Shane Williams and Lucas, Kyle, and Cameran Ross; step great-grandchildren, Johnny and Kate Wiley; niece, Courtney Williams; nephew, Donnie Lee Williams; Robin and Robert Tyree, who called him granddaddy and always put a smile on his face; and dear friend and fishing buddy, Gene Crockett. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Ida Marie Janiszewski.

A memorial service will be held at the Williams-Onancock Funeral Home on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., with The Reverend Robert Fletcher officiating.
