Jack Bundick

Mr. William Jackson “Jack” Bundick, 83, resident of Modest Town, VA, passed away Friday, November 10, 2017 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital.  He was born August 17, 1934 as the only child of the late William Andrew Bundick and Vera Barnes Bundick.  Survivors include several cousins and their families. 

Jack attended Goldey-Beacom College and later received his Bachelor’s degree from Salisbury State University.  A longtime banker, his career began with Hallwood National Bank and continued with Bank of Virginia and its successors, currently BB&T.  He was a member of the Seabay-Metompkin Ruritan Club and a devoted member of Modest Town Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon and longtime treasurer.    

Funeral services will be held at the Modest Town Baptist Church on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., with The Reverend John Cullop officiating.  Interment will follow in the Modest Town Baptist Church Cemetery.  There will be a visitation at the church one hour prior to the service.
