John Lord

John Michael Lord, 49, of Parksley, VA, passed away at his home on Saturday, September 30, 2017.

Born January 19, 1968 at Tachikawa Air Force Base in Japan, he was one of twin sons, born to John Peter Lord and Judith Kinney Lord, of Mears, VA.  John was a carpenter, working with his brother at John Lord Building, Inc.

In addition to his parents, survivors include a daughter, JoAnna Lord Knitter and her husband Charles, of Keller, VA; a grandson, Jacob Charles Knitter of Keller; a sister, Julie Lord Martin and her husband Brandon, of Mearsville, VA; his twin brother, Jeffrey Milan Lord and his wife Toni, of Belle Haven, VA; a niece and nephew, Jemma Martin and Jimmy Lord; and his special friend and companion, Joi Taylor.

The family will have a private service, but ask that you remember John and your memories with him, in your own special way.
