Diana and Randy, We were saddened to hear of the recent passing of your mother. Mrs. Hickman was a kind and "very special" person in so many ways. She was a wonderful roommate with my mother for so many years and the kindness your entire family shared with my mother has never been forgotten. I was able to visit with her about 2 years ago while on my visit to the Shore. I will always remember her wonderful smile! We send our love and prayers to your entire family.

We are so sorry to hear of Aunt Kitty's passing but know she is in Heaven with all those who have gone before. We were able to visit her in October before we returned to Hawaii. We enjoyed hearing the stories of her childhood with Aunt Isabell and Aunt Mary, her Birch cousins when she stayed with Aunt Lottie on Chincoteague. May your faith in God and lasting memories help you during this sad time. Aloha oe, until we meet again.

Randy, Diana and Family, we know your hearts are broken to lose your mother. Life is never the same and we miss her every day of our lives. Your mom was so sweet and courageous. My memories of her are that she was fun to be with. I can just imagine the Homecoming Party she received from all those who loved her.

We are so sorry to hear of Mrs. Hickman's passing. She was a very nice and thoughtful person. We remember seeing her walk out Hickman Lane to get her mail, before she went to Heritage Hall. When we bought the land we live on and built our home, from Louie - she appeared shortly after we moved her with a pan of homemade rolls. All the Hickman's have been very good and nice to us. We send our prayers and sympathy to all of her family.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your loved one.

God views death as an enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26)

And, he is eager to conquer this enemy death, and to resurrect our loved ones. ( Job 14:14,15)

At that time period, death will be no more. (Rev. 21:4)

I hope this comforts you and your family.

Miss Katherine was a special part of my life. Spent many "cold" nights sleeping over with Diana Kay during teen-age years in the big old farm house. Miss Katherine also sent me a birthday card every year for as long as I can remember, until she was no longer able to. When I moved, they always found me. Don't know why, but looked forward to them every year.(Thanks Miss Katherine). Such Good Memories.... Such a Special Lady. Blessing to Her family. Sharon

Mrs. Hickman was one of the sweetest people we ever knew. She never had a bad word to say about anyone. Above all else, she loved God and her family. She will always be remembered as a beautiful Christian lady. Love and God's blessing to all the family.

Diana and Randy , May your grief be tempered with God's Love and Grace . Your mom is a very special lady. Yes I am writing in the present tense . As the Apostle Paul wrote
"to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." Your mother showed Love , Mercy , and Grace to all who had the privilege to meet her . I know she will be missed by family and friends, but she has finished the race. She is receiving the rewards God has for her through Christ Jesus our Lord.
