Marie Chambers Scott

March 5, 1924 ~ August 2, 2019 (age 95)

Mrs. Marie C. Scott, wife of the late J. Lynwood Scott, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 2, 2019, at the age of 95. A native and lifelong resident of Onancock, VA, she was born on March 5, 1924 to the late James and Winnie Chambers.

Survivors include her daughter, Jane S. James of Onancock; grandsons, Adam W. James, D. Brent Edwards and wife Karen, and L. Scott Edwards and wife Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Kennedy James, Ryan Edwards, Ashleigh Edwards, Kayla Turner and husband David, and Brad Taylor; great-great granddaughter, Allison Turner; niece, Penny Duckworth; and great-niece, Noelle Holland and husband Dano.
