Martin George Johnson

Martin George Johnson, 84, husband of the late Audrey Jeanne Johnson and  a resident of Bloxom, VA, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital, in Onancock, VA.

Born November 21, 1933 in Cleveland, OH, he was the son of the late Martin and Rachel Johnson.  Martin served his country in the United States Navy, and later retired as a sergeant from the Shaker Heights Police Department, in Shaker Heights, OH.  Following retirement, the Johnsons moved to the Eastern Shore where Martin enjoyed fishing, hunting, archery, and photography.

Survivors include his five children, Martin; Diana and husband Dave and their daughter, Angela; Erica and husband Wayne; Kurt and wife Wendy and their sons, James and Branden; Debby and husband Troy and their children, Dillon, Jasmine, and Dereck. 

Services will be conducted from the graveside at the Willoughby Cemetery, in Ohio, on Monday, October 1, 2018.

The family requests memorial donations be made to the Bloxom Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 132, Bloxom, VA 23308, in recognition of their gratitude for the unwavering support and care shown to their father.
