Teri Evans

Mrs. Teresa Ann “Teri” Evans, 60, wife of Lloyd W. Evans, Jr. and a resident of Onley, VA, passed away Monday, July 10, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.

Born September 2, 1956 in Pittsfield, MA, and reared in Lee, MA, she was a daughter of Mary Patricia Emerson Castronova of Lee, and the late James Joseph Castronova.  Teri was a true matriarch with a loving and compassionate heart, who made sure her children, their friends, and those who needed a safe haven, always knew her door was open.  There wasn’t a time Teri’s kitchen wasn’t filled with laughter and endless plates of kielbasa, and although Teri kept her circle small, those who were lucky enough to be loved by her, never doubted that love.  She will be greatly missed, but her legacy will forever be celebrated and cherished by her loved ones.   

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her two children, James C. “Bo” Mason and wife Melanie of Accomac, VA, and Christina M. “Chrissy” LeCato and husband Bert of Onancock, VA; two sisters, Sandy Castronova Parker and husband Ralph Appleton of Dalton, MA, and Jodi Bridges and husband Keith of Onancock; brother, Jimmy Castronova of Lee; three grandchildren, Zack Bell and Makayla and Chance Mason; four nieces, Stephanie Farina, Tricia Sires, Shannon Hall, and Jessica Bridges; and four nephews, Michael and Brent Henry, Mark Parker, and Richard Bridges.  Other than her father, she was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Joan Castronova. 

In accordance with Teri’s wishes, services will be private.
