Ann E. Huntington, 91, a former Alexandria City teacher for 27 years, died Saturday, November 18, 2023.
Mrs. Huntington was born Ann N. Edmonds in Accomac, VA. She graduated from Accomac High School and Longwood University. After college she taught in Newport News, VA, and Tucson, AZ, before moving to Alexandria where she met and married Rollin L. Huntington.
She was a member of Immanuel Church-on-the-Hill and council member of the Annandale Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center for 25 years.
Mrs. Huntington is survived by her husband, Rollin L. Huntington of Alexandria, VA, and her sister, Jane Barnett of Sugarland, TX, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
