Anna Brown Obituary

Anna L. Brown, 94, wife of the late Charles D. Brown, formerly of Bloxom, VA, died peacefully at her daughter's home in Eastville, VA, on December 8, 2025.

Born March 11, 1931, in Cheriton, VA, Anna was the daughter of the late William Seth Lovell and Anna Ruby Kochersperger Lovell. She spent her early years in Eastville before settling in Bloxom, where she made her home for most of her adult life.

Anna met the love of her life, Charles Brown, and they were married on November 4, 1949. Together, they raised three children, instilling in them the values of kindness, respect, and hard work. Anna worked for many years at a local grocery store, where she took great pride in caring for her customers and providing exceptional service. She was known for her warm smile and genuine concern for others.

In her free time, Anna enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and hunting whenever she had the chance. She loved playing Bingo at local fire departments, crocheting beautiful blankets for her family, and spending quiet evenings reading or watching her favorite show, Perry Mason.

Above all else, Anna cherished her role as a mother and grandmother. Family was the center of her world, and her love for them was unwavering. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.
