Mrs. Bonnie W. Henderson, 74, wife of U.K. “Kerr” Henderson III and a resident of Onancock, VA, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family, on Sunday, October 15, 2017.

Born July 9, 1943 in Newport News, VA, she was the daughter of the late Reide Smith Watkinson and Sue Harrison Watkinson.  Bonnie was former owner and operator of Bon-Lin, and Bonnie’s Boutique.  She enjoyed painting, fishing and boating, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her loving husband, survivors include three children, Terry F. Payne and his wife Melissa, of Onancock, Cindy P. Joynes and her husband Arthur, of Accomac, VA, and Lisa P. Scott and her husband Scotty, of Onancock; five grandchildren, Kelly Scott Doughty and her husband Jeff, Shannon Terry Joynes,  Hayley Reide Payne, Everett Wilson Savage, and Martin Quinn Savage; two great-grandchildren, Landon Joynes and Alexis Lucas; a sister-in-law Joan Shaw of Accomac, nephew Douglas Shaw, his wife Cathy, and their daughters, Claire, Kate and Natalie, of Annapolis, MD, numerous cousins, and their families.  In addition to her parents, Bonnie was predeceased by her brother, Jackie Lee Watkinson; grandson, Christopher Kerr Hart; and brother-in-law, Brooks L. Shaw.

The family will receive friends at Bonnie’s home, Thursday, October 19, 2017, from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m.  According to her wishes, other services will be private for her family.
