Mr. W.F. “Bozie” Nock, Jr., 70, of Parksley, VA, passed away at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital on Sunday, February 4, 2018.
Born September 23, 1947 in Nassawadox, VA, and reared in Parksley, he was the son of the late Warren Fulton Nock and Joanne Wessells Nock. Bozie attended Parksley High School, and in 1964 went to Hargrave Military Academy, graduating the following year. After attending college in Florida, he began work at the Newport News Shipyard, ultimately returning to the Eastern Shore, to work with his father at Nock Motors. Bozie’s true passion was working on cars, enjoying music, and watching the Washington Redskins. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Kathryn L. Byrd and her husband Chase, of Mears, VA, Amy Joanne Nock, and Kelly Marie Nock, both of Salisbury, MD; a sister, Sallye N. Windsor and her husband Tommy, of Lewes, DE; two grandchildren, Michael Byrd and his wife Dara, of Bloxom, VA, and Karlie Marie Scott of Salisbury; and two nephews, Thomas Windsor and his wife Allison, of Birmingham, AL, and Andrew Windsor of Bethesda, MD.
A memorial service will be held at the Williams-Parksley Funeral Home, Monday February 12, 2018, at 4:00 p.m., with Mr. George Fulk officiating.
