Bunky Webb

Mr. James Allen “Bunky” Webb, Jr., 59, resident of Crisfield, MD, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Coastal Hospice by the Lake in Salisbury, MD, surrounded by his family.

Born February 8, 1959 in Crisfield, he was a son of the late James Allen Webb and Gladys Marie Shields Webb. Bunky was a longtime contractor, and although carpentry was his specialty, he was truly a jack of all trades. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix, and if he wasn’t working, he was tinkering with something. Always willing to lend a hand to family and friends, Bunky looked forward to spending time with loved ones and was sure to make everyone laugh. Bunky enjoyed boating and traveling to new places, was a member of the Crisfield Lions Club, and attended Crisfield Weslyan Church.     

Survivors include his daughters, Christina M. Rentschler and husband Tommy of Princess Anne, MD, and Danielle M. Witmer and husband Michael of Greencastle, PA; sisters, Rose M. Howard and husband Jack of Marion, MD, Linda A. Carman of Crisfield, Toni L. Richards and husband Stephen of Eden, MD; brothers, David A. Webb of Crisfield, and Bobby W. Webb of Shelltown, MD; grandchildren, Thomas and Madison; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother-in-law,  Charles Carman. 

A memorial service will be held at Crisfield Wesleyan Church on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 2:00 p.m., with The Reverend Bob Daniels officiating.
