Carol Kaiser Obituary

Carol Beth Kaiser, 67, beloved wife of Brian Kenneth Kaiser and a resident of Onancock, on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA.

Born January 27, 1955 in Philadelphia, PA, Carol was the daughter of the late Edward S. Bartlett and Elizabeth Farrell Rambo. Carol was a longtime resident of Chalfont, PA before relocating to Virginia in 2016. She was a registered nurse for 42 years, and her career included working at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, and most recently at the Doylestown Surgery Center, Doylestown, PA. In addition to caring for others, she created and maintained a loving home for her family. She was the center of so many worlds and quietly touched many hearts.

Carol enjoyed gardening, boating, the beach, baking, reading, and ‘wine tasting’.  She loved dogs and was talented at perceiving and understanding their minds and needs.  Carol enjoyed sunsets, especially those over the water seen from her home with Brian by her side. Sunsets, she would say, “are no two alike,” and she would share pictures of them with her family and close friends both near and far away.  She was a quiet, kind, and gentle person, always giving of herself whether it be a friend or a stranger, never asking for anything in return.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two children, Krystin Leah Conklin and husband Matt of Howell, NJ, and Matthew Brian Kaiser and girlfriend Alex Sharer of Philadelphia, PA; two grandchildren, Ben and Aubrey Conklin; her sister Leslie Herman and husband Buck of Brookville, PA; brother Edward Bartlett of Agoura, CA, and brother Scott Bartlett and his wife Karina of Clinton, WA; her mother-in-law, Barbara Ann Kaiser of Warminster, PA; several nieces and nephews; and Brian’s extended family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her father-in-law, Kenneth A. Kaiser.

A private celebration of Carol’s life will be held in the future, both here on the Shore and in Pennsylvania, with information shared at that time.

The family asks friends to show their appreciation of Carol by supporting her caring and passion for dogs, by donating to Dogs Deserve Better at https://www.dogsdeservebetteresva.org/donate.
