Charles Edwin “Charlie” Williams, 32, passed away, Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at his home in Cambridge, MD.
Born December 26, 1991 in Nassawadox, VA and raised on Tangier Island, VA, Charlie was a proud native of Tangier and loved his island and community. He was a diehard Cincinnati Bengals fan, especially when it came to Joe Burrow. Charlie always greeted everyone with a smile, loved those closest to him without measure, and would do anything for anyone.
Charlie is survived by his mother, Caroline Charnock Williams of Cambridge; his sister, Samantha Marsh and her husband, Scottie, as well as their children, Carter, Cohen and Callie, all of Crisfield, MD; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Charles Federick “Puge” Charnock and Carolyn Jane Charnock, with whom he shared a special bond, and Barry Morton Williams, Sr. and Nedra Smith Williams.
Family and friends will gather on Tangier this summer to celebrate Charlie’s life.
