Charles S. Wakefield, Sr., age 96, died April 21, 2021.
He was born in Brooklyn, New York and died at his residence on Chincoteague Island, Virginia where he has lived with his beloved wife, Grace Elizabeth Mackenzie Wakefield since 1984.
He is survived by his wife, Grace, to whom he was married for almost 71 years, his children, Elizabeth (William) Foster, John (Sharon)Wakefield, and Charles (Maureen) Wakefield, Jr., five grandchildren, Carrie, Heather, Erin, Megan, and Michael and six great-grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan, Owen, Molly, Elizabeth, and Eloise.
There will be no memorial, but relatives and friends may contact his wife, if desired.
