Claudia Webb Obituary

Mrs. Claudia Savage Webb, 75, of Jamesville, VA, was welcomed home by her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 13, 2026. Born September 23, 1950, in Nassawadox, VA. She was the daughter of the late Ina P. Brown and Donald O. Brown and the late John Robert “Bob” Savage.

Claudia graduated from Onancock High School, Class of 1968, and went on to graduate from Pan-American Business School in Richmond, VA. She later returned to the Eastern Shore and began working for Dr. Elam W. “Tom” Bosworth II, and although bookkeeping was her main role, she wore many hats during her 28 years. After Dr. Bosworth’s retirement, Claudia turned her focus to managing their family farm business, as well as many other ventures she and Tommy took on over the years.

A devoted and longtime member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Claudia’s heart for service extended far beyond the church walls – especially when it came to animals. She had a boundless love for them all, from horses and dogs to pigs and chickens. Claudia stopped at nothing to rescue any animal in need, even if that meant knocking on a door as an ‘unofficial’ animal control officer or stopping traffic to save a turtle crossing the road. She also looked forward to cruising in the Corvette and on the back of the motorcycle, sharing countless adventures with Tommy over the years.

Claudia’s infinite love for her family, friends, and all God’s creations was a true blessing to those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her. She may have always been running a little late, but she always showed up.

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband of 54 years, G. Thomas “Tommy” Webb; her sister, Cynthia “Cindy” Bradford and husband Bill of Nassawadox, sister in-law Gena Savage; nieces and nephews, Cory Savage (Jackie), Christopher Savage (Andrea), April Caison (Chris), Rachel Savage, Kristina Savage, Melody Bradford (Geoff), and Jessica Fitchett (RJ), along with their children; and last but certainly not least, her beloved black lab, “Doc,” who was truly her baby. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her dear brother, Robert “Glynn” Savage.

Claudia’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Brenda Robinson, Leslie Walker, Donna Wallace, Myriam Downing, and Pat Williams for their unwavering dedication to her care and well-being over the past several years.

Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Williams-Onancock Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., with The Reverend Paul Oh officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Private interment will be held at the Belle Haven Cemetery.

Contributions in Claudia’s memory may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 224, Jamesville, VA 23398 or to any local animal rescue shelter.
