David Richard Waller

January 31, 1944 ~ March 20, 2022 (age 78)


Mr. David Richard Waller, 78, of Onancock, VA, passed away at his home on Sunday, March 20, 2022. Born January 31, 1944, in Salisbury, MD, he was the son of the late Thomas Jackson Waller and Eleanor Gullett Waller. 

Dave served his country in the United States Army and lifelong cabinet maker. He loved everything about the Eastern Shore and looked forward to time spent hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his longtime companion of over 30 years, Grace Selby of Harborton, VA, and her daughter, Jeanette Sturgis of Wachapreague, VA, whom Dave considered his stepdaughter; a sister, Rebecca Waller of Delaware; step-grandchildren, Donald (Kaitlen) Rogers, Morghan Rogers, and Grace (Carl) Sturgis; step-great-grandchildren, Nolan, Addison, Gage, and Grayson; and countless friends, whose constant love and support over the years was much appreciated by David, as well as by his family.  

Per his wishes, no public services will be held.
