Doug Scott

William Douglas Scott, 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 31, 2020. Born and raised in Tasley, VA, he was the son of the late Fred Douglas Scott and Roxie Lillian Marsh Scott. Doug is survived by his three children, Chris, Lexa, and Nick and seven grandchildren.

For many years, Doug owned and operated a clam boat and worked in the payroll department at the Newport News Shipyard. Following retirement, he returned to his childhood home in Tasley. Doug was a proud member of the Onancock Elks Lodge, B.P.O.E. # 1766.

A gathering to celebrate Doug’s life will be held at the Onancock Elks Lodge, in Accomac, VA, on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 2:00 p.m.
