Gary Ginsberg Obituary

Gary Samuel Ginsberg, 80, died on October 22. A New Jersey native, he moved to Onancock to raise his family and build his business.

Gary is survived by his wife, Diane, his sons, David (Caryn), Steven (Amy), and grandchildren, Tess, Eve, Samuel, and Jonah, his sister, Mildred, and his brother, Joel. He was predeceased by his twin sister, Beverly.

Gary started his own accounting firm, now known as Ginsberg, Nottingham and Mapp. He served on numerous boards, including the board of directors of Shore Memorial Hospital, First Virginia Bank and Broadwater Academy. Gary enjoyed playing golf, traveling, and seeing his grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private. Family and friends are invited to the home on October 30 from 2 to 4 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to a local charity of your choice.
