Hannelore Albrecht

Mrs. Hannelore Thomsen Albrecht, 83, wife of the late Reinhart Albrecht and a resident of The Citadel in Nassawadox, VA, formerly of Belle Haven, VA, passed away at her residence on Monday, January 18, 2021.

Born October 23, 1937 in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Johann Thomsen and Anni Scheer Thomsen.  In the past, Mrs. Albrecht had worked in a chocolate factory, arranged floral arrangements for friends who appreciated her talent, and worked taking care of her home.  She had a ‘heart of gold’, with the well-being of others always on her mind, and willing to do anything she could for anyone in need.  Mrs. Albrecht was a lifelong loving and Christian lady, and had been an active faithful member of Rock Church in Melfa, VA.

Survivors include her children, Mara Armstrong of Onancock, VA, Heiko Albrecht of New Jersey, and Rainer Albrecht of Virginia; a brother, Dieter Thomsen of Germany; three grandchildren; and one niece.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Ingrid Wendt; a brother, Egon Thomsen; and a granddaughter.

No public services will be held.
