Hazel Bennett Justis

Mrs. Hazel Bennett Justis, 95, wife of the late Lawrence Gilbert Justis passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2021, with her daughter by her side. Born March 9, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Otho and Roxie Bennett.

Always with a smile, Hazel had the kindest of hearts which perfectly matched her unwavering faith in the Lord. She was a longtime member of Independent Pilgrim Church in Greenbush, VA, and remained a dedicated member over the years.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Lauren Esther Justis of Loveland, OH and sister-in-law, Margaret Bennett of Grasonville, MD. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Carlton and Wilson Bennett.

Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Williams-Parksley Funeral Home on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., with Mr. Mike Barnes officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Cemetery. There will be a visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
